Parents and Godparents must attend the pre-Baptismal class. 

The Baptism Class in Spanish:
 First Monday of the month at 6:30pm in the Church
 (For classes in English, please call the Parish Office 702-647-3440)
 No prior registration is necessary.

The child must be no older that 6 and a half years old.
 If the child is older, please contact the Faith Formation office 702-646-2266.

BAPTISM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Proof of class for parents and Godparents.                                                                               
2. Godparents must be at least 16 years old and must have received the sacraments of Baptism, 1st Communion and Confirmation. If the Godparent is married, they must be married in the Roman Catholic Church. Proof of sacraments are required.                                      

3. Only two Godparents are allowed on the baptismal certificate and at the time of the baptism.  The child needs to have a Godmother and Godfather (Godparents can not be of the same gender).                                                                                                                           

If you are a single parent
 and the child's other parent's name appears on the birth certificate, a notarized letter or full custody documents are required to baptize the child.

Visit the parish office with your COMPLETED AND SIGNED envelope along with a copy of the childs birth certificate, proof of class, sacramental documents for godparents, and $75 donation.

Please do not make travel or celebration plans until you have turned in your completed Baptism packet.

Las clases pre-bautismales se impartirán en la iglesia el primer lunes del mes a las 6:30PM.  No es necesario de anotarse para asistir la clase. Les pedimos ser puntuales. Favor de no traer niños. Se les dará su comprobante de que asistió a la clase. 

El niño debe ser menor de 6 años y medio. Si es mayor, debe hablar a la oficina de formacion de fe para incribirlo en clases de catecismo al 702-646-2266.

REQUISITOS PARA BAUTIZAR: 

1. Comprobante de la clase para padres y padrinos                

2. Los padrinos deben ser mayores de 16 años y haber recibido los sacramentos de bautismo, 1era comunion y confirmacion. Si son casados, deben estar casados por la Iglesia Catolica Romana. Se requerirá prueba de los sacramentos de cada padrino.                                                                                           

3. Solo se permiten dos padrinos en el acta de bautismo y a la hora del bautismo.   

4. El nino necesita tener un padrino y una madrina si el papa o la mama es soltero. Si los padres son casados, pueden tener un solo padrino o madrina, o los dos.          

5. Los padrinos no pueden ser del mismo genero.

Si usted es soltero y el nombre del otro padre o madre aparece en el acta de nacimiento, se requiere presentar una carta notariada o documentos de custodia para poder bautizar.

Visite la oficina parroquial con su sobre COMPLETO Y FIRMADO junto con el certificado de nacimiento del niño, comprobante de la clase, documentos sacramentales de los padrinos y el donativo de $75.

Los bautismos son a las 9:00am todos los sabados.
